FAQ

Commonly asked questions that may help you decide if working with me is right for you.

Do you accept insurance?  What is the cost of therapy?

Yes, I accept a few types of insurance! I invite you to click on this link to view the insurance providers that I am in network with here.  For those that will not be using insurance, the cost is $150 for the first session and $125 for each session thereafter.  I also provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement if needed.  Please note that I cannot currently accept insurance in South Carolina.

In which states are you licensed to practice?

I am licensed to provide therapy in Ohio and Kentucky. Additionally, I hold telehealth licenses in Florida and South Carolina.

Do you work with clients virtually or in person?

I offer virtual therapy sessions. For virtual sessions, we will use a secure telehealth platform (Zoom) to ensure privacy and ease of access.

What are your hours of availability?

I am available for sessions Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM EST.

What age groups or populations do you work with?

I work with adults. I specialize in trauma, C-PTSD, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I also work with individuals who are currently or have been members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, offering support across a range of experiences and perspectives.  If you have questions about whether I can help with a specific concern, feel free to reach out.

How long are sessions and how many will I need?

Sessions typically last between 50-55 minutes each.  For clients using an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), sessions are typically 45 minutes or less in length, per EAP guidelines.  The number of sessions depends on your individual needs and goals. Some clients may benefit from a few sessions, while others may choose to engage in therapy for a longer period of time. We’ll regularly assess progress together and adjust our approach as necessary.

How do I get started?

Getting started is easy. Click on the 'Book a Consultation' button below, fill out the form, and I’ll reach out to you. From there, we’ll arrange a 15-minute phone consultation to discuss the basics of therapy and determine if we’re a good fit. If so, we'll schedule our first session during the call.
